Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using 1o1.org and SocratesOS (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

SocratesOS is a dialectic engine that facilitates structured self-reflection. The Service is not therapy, counseling, or medical advice. Responses generated by the language model are classified as FACT, INFERENCE, or SPECULATION and should be treated accordingly.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration. One account per person.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Arena subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
  • Submit content designed to manipulate or exploit the automated system
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you submit. 1o1.org retains ownership of the platform, engine, cognitive models, and all associated intellectual property. Session artifacts generated by the Service are licensed to you for personal use.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. 1o1.org is not liable for decisions made based on automatically generated content. Our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Portal settings. Upon deletion, all data is permanently removed.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
